Happiness in this World and the Next
“We Happy Science have been taught about happiness in this world, and happiness in another world. We are thinking that both happiness should be combined. Or we should live happily throughout this world to the other world.”
Main Concept of Buddhism
“I dare say to you. You must be happy in this real life. But please don’t forget about the afterlife. And I ask you, please think about the afterlife and live happily, bravely, in this world. That is the main concept of real Buddhism.”
Attitude and Virtue of Your Life = Your Destination
“Your attitude of life, your degree of virtue, will determine where you should go. ‘Where you should’ go means the next world where you shall live and keep your state of mind in that world. It is the main point of Buddhism.
So, please here me carefully. Listen to me carefully. You have two eyes. Please look through one eye at reality, real happiness, real life. And please use your other eye, and look at the other world, and another happiness. And please combine these two happinesses into one happiness.”
